The existing 1 to 10 mm light path of the flow cell integrated into microSI-LOV module can be extended up to 10 cm by means of a kit that uses a unique light focusing conduit, the length of which can be selected by the user. The light conduit containing the monitored solution is made of standard PEEK tubing mounted axially in a straight line between the ends of two optical fibers. In contrast to liquid core optical guides that use specialized tubing with inner lining, that may be affected by adsorbing species, the light conduit made of straight PEEK tubing is inert, inexpensive and can be replaced by the user. All wetted surfaces are either quartz, PEEK or Ultem. While originally designed for high sensitive UV-VIS spectrophotometry, the ELP flow cell is suitable for chemiluminiscence as well as for fluorescence measurements with axial illumination. The ELP flow cell is fully compatible with Ocean Optics Spectrophotometer and LED, tungsten or Deuterium light sources. The benefit of ELP flow cell, besides increased sensitivity due to longer light path, is that by accommodating larger sample volumes in undiluted form, it allows longer sections of a dispersed sample zone to be monitored in a stopped flow mode. |

The SMA-USP flowcell is ideal for measuring the UV/VIS (220 to 1000 nm) absorbance of very optically dense fluids. Eliminates or minimizes the need for pre-dilutions during online monitoring. Wetting surfaces are Fused Silica and Teflon. Custom materials and designs are available. Connects to fiber optics with SMA terminations. Additional Information:

With the new Rapid Queuing Valve (RQV) option, the FIAlab-2500 can now measure Phosphate and Ammonia at around nine seconds per sample. This compares to 30-60 seconds per sample for other commercially available FIA systems. Some limitations do apply, for instance the RQV is not compatible with the SCSP-2500 autodilutor option. Please inquire for additional information to see if the Rapid Queuing Valve will work with your specific application(s). |
|
No need to prepare multiple standards, let the SCSP-2500 dilutor create the standards automatically. The SCSP-2500 aspirates standards and samples from autosampler, dilutes them to the desired level, and delivers the resulting diluted sample through the FIAlab-2500 manifold. Accurate dilutions down to twenty fold. Easily create calibration curves from a single standard, or dilute samples to concentration levels within the dynamic range of the detector.

Reaction mixture comprising assayed sample and sodium borohydride is segmented by air. The mixture enters the separator, where air removes generated hydride and carries it into a flowcell for cold vapor monitoring or into AA or ICP instrument. Gas expansion separator is controlled by FIAlab software and is compatible either with FIAlab 2500 ( for continuous flow operation) or with the MicroSIA for programmable flow operation (to minimize reagent consumption). |
