The FIAlab
SMA-Z Flowcell
(for absorbance measurements) is a "Z" type
flowcell constructed of chemically inert
Teflon, Plexiglas, Ultem, PEEK or high grade
stainless steel. The SMA-Z Cell's
optical path length is available in 2.5, 5,
10, 50, 100 mm
(other lengths are available with special
orders).

The LP Long Path
Flowcell
has a 40 to 60 cm optical path, with an internal
volume of ~100 microliters (for the 50 cm
model). The
LP flowcell is ideally suited for very low level
nutrient and trace element assays frequently
observed in
Oceanographic research applications.
The flowcell allows UV/VIS/NIR (400 nm to 1000 nm)
absorbance measurements. Eliminates or
minimizes the need for pre-concentrations during
online monitoring. Wetting surfaces
are Fused Silica,
Viton®,
and PEEK. Contains no
Teflon AF.

The SMA-USP
Ultra-Short Path Flowcell allows absorbance
measurements through optical path lengths from
100 microns to 2000 microns. The SMA-USP
flowcell is made from Spectrosil® Quartz and is
ideal for measuring UV/VIS/NIR (170 nm
to 2700 nm) absorbance of optically
dense fluids. Eliminates or minimizes the
need for pre-dilutions during online monitoring.
Wetting surfaces are Fused Silica and Teflon.
Custom materials and designs are available.
Connects to fiber optics with SMA terminations.

The
SMA-Fluorescence Flowcell
contains fused silica windows as wetting
surfaces at each fiber optic junction. The
flowcell is available in PEEK and Stainless
Steel and is compatible with standard SMA
terminated fiber optics. The windows are
removable for cleaning or replacement to another
material with differing optical bandpass
properties. Each cell comes with Upchurch
fittings, tubing, and this instruction sheet.

The FIA-Z-CELL Flowcell is a variation on the
FIAlab SMA-Z flowcell
that uses optical fibers in 1.58-mm ferrules instead of windows. The
FIA-Z-CELL's design allows you to set the optical pathlength from 0 to 10 mm.
Standard cell materials are Plexiglas, stainless steel or PEEK polymer.
