Lab-On-Valve Principles |
FIAlab-On-Valve - FIAlab's Micro SI, or Lab-on-valve manifold has been designed to micro miniaturize flow injection, sequential injection and bead injection - all within a single monolithic mezzo fabricated component. The precisely fabricated instrument integrates a flow through injection port, working channels and flow through cell in a strategically designed structure, that allows sample dilution, reagent addition, mixing, incubation and reaction rate measurements to be carried out under computer control in the forward/reversed flow/ stopped flow regime. Designed to accommodate spectrophotometric and/or fluorescence detection, the lab-on-valve system is compatible with the MicroSIA, FIAlab 3000 and FIAlab 3500 instruments furnished with a fiber optic spectrophotometer.
