FIAlab-1000
is an affordable solution handling system for rapid quantitative analysis.
This alternative to a cuvette delivers precise volumes of solutions to
a Z-type flow cell for continuos or stop flow spectrophotometric readings.
This means rapid and accurate quantitative measurements - less than 1 minute
per sample, with typical repeatabilities of better than one-half a percent.
No need to manually rinse and fill cuvettes, just aspirate into a flow
cell, take the reading, and rinse by pumping through water.
The FIAlab-1000 's reversible, variable speed two channel pump may be operated manually or with a desktop or laptop PC. One channel may be used for dilution or for merging with a reagent. Included with each system is an Alitea two channel peristaltic pump, a FIAlab SMA Z-Type flow cell (specify Teflon, or Plexiglas), tubing and Upchurch fittings, 12 V DC power adapter, Windows based software, and example pump controlling source code written in Visual Basic.
