FIAlab-2500 - For Classical
Flow Injection Analysis

The FIAlab-2500 offers a complete
automated flow injection analysis system, including
FIAlab for Windows
control software, and the UV/VIS (or VIS/NIR) spectrometer based detector. The
low cost of the FIAlab-2500 makes this system appealing to academic teaching
and research laboratories. The robust design and adaptability make it the best
choice for commercial laboratories performing routine
Agricultural and Environmental Assays such as Nitrate, Nitrite,
Ammonia, Phosphate, Chloride, and Iron. Most of these methods are fully

Multichannel FIAlab-2500 systems are used for processing
simultaneous assays. Up to four systems can be connected for multiple
simultaneous analyte processing. For instance, a dual channel system can
simultaneously process Nitrate and Phosphate, or Nitrate and Chloride. A three
channel system can simultaneously process, e.g., Ammonia, Phosphate, and
Nitrate.
Ultra Low Level Assays - The FIAlab-2500 can be configured to measure nitrite,
nitrate, plus other analytes in the low parts per billion range using a 10 cm
long path flowcell. Please inquire for additional information.

In the above example, Nitrate was measured at
540 (blue) and 600 nm (green),
and Chloride was measured at 480 (cyan)
and 520 nm (red). Monitoring each
analyte at two or more wavelengths can dramatically increase the dynamic
range, where the optimal wavelength is used for lower concentrations, and
the suboptimal wavelength for higher concentrations.

Auto Dilutor
- No need to prepare multiple standards, let the
SCSP-2500
dilutor prepare the standards automatically. The
SCSP-2500
aspirates standards and samples from
autosampler, delivers the resulting sample to the FIAlab-2500, filling the
sample loop to the desired dilution level. Accurate dilutions up to
twenty fold. Easily create calibration curves from a single standard. |

RQV |
The new Rapid Queuing Valve option allows assays of phosphate and
ammonia to be performed at around nine seconds per sample with no loss of
accuracy or sensitivity. Some limitations do apply, for instance the RQV is
not compatible with the SCSP-2500 autodilutor option. Please inquire for
additional information to see if the Rapid Queuing Valve will work with your
specific application(s). |
