FIAlab systems and components are designed in a close cooperation with customers. We offer consultation on chemistry on which you application is based,
on design of the microfluidic system, its monitoring and computerization.
We will test suitability of your chemical assays for automation based on flow analysis
and will design components and systems for this purpose.
We design and manufacture custom systems and components, based on customer specifications. including microfluidic components, pumps. valves, electronic controls, optical components detectors, sensors and instrument enclosures, and software. The design can be based on your existing chemical protocol, or we can work with you to develop the entire package of chemistry and instrument design. Our OEM Service covers the full range of laboratory applications, process control instruments, environmental monitoring and individual custom items.
Laboratory Instrumentation
Four peristaltic pumps and six magnetic valves comprise this unusual design build

FIAlab single channel chloride analyzer (left) uses conductimetric detection for continuous monitoring of ethanol production.

The Colifast At-Line Monitor - CALM - is a fully automated stand-alone early warning at-line analyser for rapid and systematic quality monitoring of E. coli, total coliforms, thermotolerant coliforms, and P. aeruginosa in waters.

The technology is timesaving, cost reducing, and environmental friendly. The applications of the CALM span from raw water, in-process water, waste water, to environmental monitoring, and this instrument is widely used within municipal waterworks, sewage plants, and other areas. Depending on the method chosen, CALM will present results directly in CFU/ml, Most Probable Number (MPN), and/or Presence/Absence. Tests for two different bacteria may be performed simultaneously.
