All FIAlab instruments can be ordered fully configured with a laptop PC loaded with software, and tested before shipping.
Autosamplers
The following autosamplers are compatible with the FIAlab-2500, FIAlab-2600, FIAlab-3000, FIAlab-3200, FIAlab-3500, and MicroSIA systems.
Standard Autosamplers
The AIM3200, 3300, 1250 autosamplers are designed for the user with medium size workload. Off the shelf sample test tube racks are available in five sizes. These range from 90 position x 13mm diameter, to 21 x 30mm diameter. Sample tube heights can vary from 10mm to 200mm. It is also easy to configure the system to use any other "third party" rack configuration, provided they can fit on the mat. Sample tubes in a wide variety of diameters and heights, our sample racks or yours, optional number of standards tubes, it all adds up to give you the flexibility you require. A fixed wash tube, where the probe can be cleaned between each sample vial is included. These autosamplers are compatible with 96 well plates, where up to four plates can be accommodated simultaneously.
AIM autosamplers are fully compatible with all FIAlab instruments and are controlled with FIAlab software. As stand alone autosamplers can be controlled by ASCII commands through, e.g., Labview or Visual Basic.

ASX-260 and ASX-520 Autosamplers - Compact and efficient design, with place of up to 180 samples (ASX-260) and up to 360 samples (ASX-520), saves precious laboratory workspace. Small footprint enables placement in front, on top, or next to the host instrument freeing up valuable bench space.
Accuracy: Precision engineered automated sample probe arm and stationary sample racks virtually eliminate errors.
Integrated Rinse Station: Continuous flow sample probe rinse station with the included peristaltic pump minimizes sample contamination and carryover.

micro Autosamplers
The unique MicroSip Autosampler is designed to handle microlitre sample volumes, for applications where the available sample volume is in microliter range. While the conventional autosamplers typically require several milliliters of sample solution, the MicroSip needs as little as 25 microliters of sample if 15 microliters are to be injected into a microSI system for assay.
The MicroSip consists of a multiposition valve with proprietary PA100 1/4-28 fittings that accept disposable pipette tips rather than tubing. The unit is designed to allow the out port to be 1-2 inches from an analyzer sample port, thus minimizing the distance the sample needs to travel.
Ideal for applications such as bioassays where sample volumes are limited and/or samples are expensive. The sample reservoirs can also hold beads for bead injection assays, as well as reagents.
Notes on volume limitations: when available sample volume is as small as 50 microliters, 10 microliter of sample can routinely be injected in triplicate. With care 5 microliters can be injected if only 10 microliters of sample solution is available .
