Flow Injection Analysis (FIA) is a universal platform for automation of all analytical reagent-based techniques, by using sophisticated microfluidic sample processing.
FIAlab Instruments has been the leader and recognized innovator in the field of flow-based analytical techniques for over 20 years. Our instruments are used on all continents, including Antarctica.
Our systems for automated assays, for continuous monitoring and for process control, are based on the following techniques.
Flow Injection is a workhorse of routine laboratories. FIAlab 2500 and 2600 systems are the most advanced, most compact and least expensive instruments on the market.
Lab-on-Valve ® technology represents a quantum leap in performing reagent-based assays in the laboratory and in the field. The FIAlab 3600 and microSIA are unique, versatile instruments, designed to minimize reagent consumption and waste generation.

NEW PRODUCTS
Designed for selective analysis of volatiles and gases , such as ammonia, sulfur
dioxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, hydrogen cyanide/cyanides, ammines,
etc. opens way to analyze a variety of materials, including seafood , wine, water,
industrial effluents and other types of samples for analytes that can be converted to
gaseous or volatile species.
Availability of new hydrophobic polymer made gas diffusion membrane,
more robust than traditional Teflon ® made tape, brings gas diffusion based
assays back into focus and practical use. The webpage reviews the instrumentation
and assays performed by this selective methodology.
The new line of syringe driven instruments ( FIAlab 2502sp, FIAlab 2504sp) features
two or four syringe driven channels, that replace conventional peristaltic pumps.
FIAlab 2500: Six Years and One Million Injections
“Attached is a photo of our Lab-on-valve manifold taken off of the Bray Phosphate FIA instrument. The system is 6 years old and has injected probably over a million samples easily.”
